Stop and stare for a while at this tourmaline ring. It is a one-of-a-kind freeRange ORIGINAL, we paid attention to the finest of details to show off this exquisite Tourmaline! This stone has been in Marelé’s collection for 2 years. She decided that it is time to add a tourmaline ring to the studio’s gemstone jewellery offering! In true freeRange fashion, we have used mixed metals and added a little twist to the side to give this piece much to talk about!

This ring is handmade in our workshop in Green Point where it passed through 6pairs of hands before it made its way here!

Let us proceed to look at the ins and outs of this beauty:

We made the ring 14ct White & Yellow Gold. It features a 2.51ct emerald cut Teal Tourmaline set in a 14ct Yellow Gold claw setting. Our goldsmith constructed this gemstone ring with each corner securely protected. The sides of the setting is open to allow plenty of light into the gem. It is flanked by a 0.08ct baguette cut natural Diamond. The cheeky baguette side-kick has round claws on a slightly lower level. We made the band from an intricate twist of white gold which gives a beautiful play of light. The tourmaline measures 8.3mm across the finger and is 6.5mm wide. The baguette is 5.3mm wide.

This tourmaline ring is a finger size ‘L’. Contact us for different finger size options and related costs. Due to the twist band design, we would remake the band section to fit a different finger size.
