Description

This designer gem necklace consist of a tricolour Tourmaline pendant slab set in 9ct Yellow Gold with semi precious gemstones on black silk. Marelé compiled 3 one-of-a-kind necklaces. The absolute highlight of this tourmaline is the natural black inclusion creating a natural evil eye.

From the designer

‘I love putting together these designer gem necklaces. Sorting through my many boxes of beads and matching them with gemstones to make something unique and striking never tires me. I have a special love for tourmaline due to the huge range of colours. They come in such interesting shades and it is my birthstone! The payoff for spending countless hours tying hundreds of small knots, is the joy I get knowing someone’s face will brighten when they receive a unique designer gem necklace.’

Let us look at the detail:

A 9ct Yellow Gold tube setting safely hugs the tourmaline pendant. This feature in its entirety is 14.25mm wide and measures 11.25mm high.

The tourmaline has a faceted front face and it weighs 1.8ct.

The designer gem necklace features small gemstone beads. It has 2mm rhodolites and smoked quartz. In addition, it has unique tubular green tourmaline crystals as well as a few 4mm garnets. The tourmaline pendant displays an evil eye against a faint green and blush of pink. This matches well with the thoughtful mix of colors in the necklace.

The designer gem necklace is 50cm long with a gold chain section at the clasp. This feature gives you the option to shorten the necklace up to 30mm. The clasp is a sturdy spring loaded trigger clasp. It is our manufacturing practice to weld all links closed for additional safety.

Do not be concerned that this necklace cannot be repaired – it absolutely can be restrung in the unfortunate even that it gets caught on something.
