A Refined Take on the Paperclip Chain

The FRJ Signature Link Essential takes a familiar paperclip link and gives it a distinctive FRJ character. This solid 9ct gold chain combines elongated paperclip links with the brand’s own Infinity link. The result is a clean design with a subtle point of difference. FRJ chose the paperclip link as its foundation to make this piece more accessible within the collection. However, the addition of the Infinity link gives it a considered designer finish. The chain remains distinctly FRJ rather than simply following a standard paperclip design.

Designed as a Wardrobe Essential

At 45cm, the Essential sits comfortably as a shorter chain or as part of a layered necklace stack. Its elongated links create a clean, refined line around the neck. In addition, the chain features a swivel clasp, which allows a pendant to be attached with ease. This adds another layer of function to the design. The proportions keep the chain elegant while the 9ct gold gives it a sense of substance. As a result, the Essential offers a refined interpretation of a familiar chain style without unnecessary decoration.

The FRJ Signature

The chain is finished with the freeRange Jewels logo at the clasp. Importantly, this detail also carries the relevant gold hallmarks, providing a mark of authenticity. The Infinity links add the distinctive FRJ element to the otherwise elongated form. Together, these details transform a familiar paperclip chain into something more individual. The Essential is the most accessible design in the current FRJ Signature Links collection, yet it still reflects the brand’s focus on considered design and quality materials. Ultimately, it offers the character of an FRJ design in a more approachable format.
