1. Detailed description of goods and/or services

freeRange Jewels is a business in the Jewellery industry that manufactures and sells Jewellery .

2. Delivery policy

2.1 freeRange Jewels prefers that jewellery is collected and/or returned in person at our store in Cape Town but if you are unable to do so, shipping charges apply to all local and international purchases.
2.2 All in stock items are shipped within 48 hours from receipt of payment (and clearance of funds into freeRange Jewels account) Monday to Friday 09h00 to 17h00 excluding Public Holidays.
2.3 Local deliveries can be expected within 3 days, international deliveries within 20 days (unless otherwise advised).
2.4 The price will be quoted based on value, weight, destination of the parcel and location availability by the specific carrier.
2.5 All parcels will be subject to custom checks, not all locations have shipping available.
2.6 A separate invoice will be sent indicating the cost of the courier after the order is placed. Shipping costs will be issued on the same tax invoice as the item purchased.
2.7 If your order’s value is more than R2, 000.00 there will be no shipping charges to any local destination (In South Africa)
2.8 Shippping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund in terms of clause 5.4 below, the cost of the return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
2.9 Bespoke and commissioned pieces of jewellery as well as those pieces of jewellery which need to be recalled from our stockists (back order), need to be made up in our workshop and so require a bit more time to deliver. If you require urgent delivery however, please contact us for arrangements to be made to prioritise your jewellery.
2.10 If a tracking number is provided by the shipping carrier, we will contact you with the tracking information
2.11 If an item goes on back order we will ship part of your order that is in stock and when the item becomes available, we will ship the balance of your order and there will be no additional shipping and handling charges applicable for the second shipment.
2.12 Please note that you are advised to insure all and any jewellery which may be lost or damaged during shipment.

3. Return and Refunds policy

The provision of goods and services by freeRange Jewels is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, freeRange Jewels will refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 10 % administration fee. (If appropriate – provide details of your policy regarding damaged goods. Also mention guarantees, warranties, etc.)

4. Customer Privacy policy

freeRange Jewels shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). 5. Payment options accepted

Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express Cards or by bank transfer into the freeRange Jewels bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.

6. Card acquiring and security

Card transactions will be acquired for freeRange Jewels via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.

7. Customer details separate from card details

Customer details will be stored by freeRange Jewels separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.

8. Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

9. Responsibility

freeRange Jewels takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

10. Country of domicile

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and freeRange Jewels chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.

11. Variation

freeRange Jewels may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
